Final Task Planning: Script

Hello Guys,

Today I have finished my script and am ready to continue on to the next steps of my final task!

Script:  

Giovanna’s House (Table to the living room to the table) 

Sister’s Friend 1: 

 Hey Giovanna, come and play! 

Big sister: 

Coming!! 

Giovanna’s House (Living room) 

Big sister: 

What are we playing? 

Sister’s Friend 2: 

Charlie Charlie! 

Sister’s Friend 1: 

It’s a game I saw on Instagram. Everyone’s playing it! 

Big sister:  

But how do you play? 

Sister’s Friend 1: 

We just ask questions and see if the pencil moves to yes or no. 

Little brother: 

Can I play?  

Sister’s friend 1 & 2: 

No Daniel 

Little brother: 

Please, I’m really bored! 

Big sister:  

Girls just let him. 

Sister’s friend 1: 

Giovannaa!!

Big sister: 

Just let him. 

Sister’s friend 1: 

Fine. 

Little brother:  

Is anyone there? 

Sister’s friend 1 & 2: 

*gasps*  

Big sister:  

There's no way that’s real. 

Big sister: 

It was probably the wind or something. 

Little brother:  

Okay, let me try asking another question. 

Little brother:  

Are my parents' home right now? 

Little brother: 

You see Giovanna! It is real! 

Big sister: 

Fine, let me try. 

Big sister: 

Did I go to school today? 

Everyone: 

*gasps* 

Sisters' friend 1: 

I guess it is real! 

Big sister: 

We should stop playing, I'm getting a little scared. Let's just go to bed, it's late anyway. 

Sisters' friend 1: 

Yeah, let's just go to bed. 

Giovanna’s house (Daniel’s Bedroom) 

Little brother: 

*Wakes up coughing* 

Spooky: 

*lurking* 

Little brother: 

*Rubs eyes* Giovanna?  

Little brother: 

Giovanna, is that you? 

Spooky: 

*Disappears* 

Little brother: 

Seriously guys, this is not funny. 

Giovanna’s house (Giovanna’s room) 

Little brother: 

Guys! That wasn't funny!  

Big sister: 

Wh- What are you talking about? 

Little brother: 

You guys coming into my room. I finally fell asleep, and you guys come in with your little pranks. 

Idk about the word silly lol but I like that! 

Big sister: 

We didn’t go to your room. 

Sisters' friend 1: 

Yeah, can’t you see we’ve been sleeping too so it wasn't us. 

Little Brother: 

Then who was in my room? Whatever, I’m just gonna go back to sleep. 

Target 

Big sister: 

Okay, so I got the chips, the shampoo, and the deodorant. I think that’s all we needed or am I missing anything? 

Little brother: 

... 

Big Sister: 

Daniel? Daniel! Are you listening? 

Little brother:  

Do you see that over there? 

Big sister: 

See what? 

Little Brother: 

Don’t you see that person staring at us? 

Big sister: 

I don’t know what you’re talking about. Are you okay Daniel? You’ve been acting weird.  

Little brother:  

Yes, I'm fine, but do you seriously not see that person staring at us? I swear I've seen that person everywhere lately. 

Big Sister: 

No, I don’t see anything. You’re probably just seeing things.  

Street (In front of Giovanna’s house)  

Big sister:  

Daniel, take the things out of the car, I'm going to get ready for church. 

Little brother: 

Okay. 

Spooky: 

*Tilts head staring at little brother* 

Little brother: 

*Talks to himself* It's not real. It's not real 

Spooky:  

*Starts running towards little brother* 

Little Brother: 

*Drops bags* GIOVANNA!!!!! ITS REAL. ITS REAL. 

Giovanna’s house (Giovanna’s room)  

Big sister:  

What? Daniel calm down! What are you talking about? 

Little brother: 

That person! That person following us at target! He’s here and he just ran after me! 

Big sister: 

Daniel. There was nobody following us. Calm down. 

Little brother: 

Come see for yourself! 

Giovanna’s house (Driveway) 

Big sister: 

There's nobody here Daniel. 

Little brother: 

I swear he was right here! I saw him! I know I did! 

Big sister: 

Whatever, I’m going to go finish getting ready. 

*After church* 

Giovanna’s house (Living room) 

*Someone knocks on the door* 

Big sister: 

Hey Daniel, can you open the door? My friend is here to pick up his notebook. 

Little Brother: 

Fine, whatever. 

Spooky: 

*Tilts head creepily* 

Little Brother: 

GIOVANNA! ITS THAT GUY AGAIN! I SHOULD NEVER HAVE PLAYED THAT GAME! BECAUSE OF YOU AND YOUR LITTLE FRIENDS, I’M HAUNTED! 

*Says while quickly backing away from the door*  

Big sister: 

Hey! How have you been? I haven’t seen you in a while! 

Little brother: 

Wait what? What is going on? 

Spooky: 

*Takes off mask/hood* 

Hey!  

*Big sister and Spooky look at little brother laughing* 

Big sister: 

Ha! We got you good! 

Big sister: 

Thanks for helping out! 

Spooky: 

No problem! It was actually pretty funny. 

Little brother: 

Wait so you two were pranking me the whole time?  

Little brother:  

I’m not actually seeing things? 

Big sister & Spooky: 

Nope 

Little brother: 

Wait, but how? How did you know to be at target at the same time as us? And how did you get into my room? 

*Flashback* 

Big sister: 

*On the phone with Spooky* Hey, so I’m about to leave my house with Daniel. We’ll be at Target in like 20 minutes 

Spooky: 

Okay, I’ll see you guys there. 

*Flashback ends* 

Little brother: 

Seriously?! Okay but how did he get into my room the other night? I remember everything was locked and the alarm was on. 

Big sister:  

Wait, you were serious about that? 

Little brother: 

Yeah! Why would I make that up? 

Big sister & Spooky: 

*Look at each other* That wasn’t us?!

The first thing I did today was crop some of my scenes because my music video was too long . Due to timing problems, I had to cut out a few parts of the Justin Bieber dancing scenes . The next scene s I had to crop were the escalator scene, the running scene, and some of the other outside scenes . By cropping, adjusting, and cutting these scenes it helped me decrease the length of my music video . Then I ended up having to download an app to download my music . After downloading the app to download my music, I proce eded to have issues with the audio . The first time downloading the song, the audio was inaudible . The second time the audio was barely audible . Then finally on my third try I got the music to be at a good volume . After I fixed everything with the audibility of the song, I had to adjust the song to my cli...

Production Blog: Production Schedule/ decisions made!

Madelyn Argueta AICE Media Studies Period 6 Hello everyone,   Although I have not begun filming, I have everything ready to begin the process of filming. I will begin filming  on Saturday October 21. I have decided to film on Saturday because the weather conditions are in my favor. Also, all the actors in the music video c an all come on Saturday. Additionally, if filming is not finished on Saturday, I will wrap up the last bits of filming on Monday October 23. On Saturday I plan on having the actors rehearse the scenes for about an hour before shooting. This will help the scenes go smoother and seem more natural. Then I will begin filming and film as much as I can before any issues arise such as weather conditions and timing issues. Prior to filming I have completed my storyboards for my music video.
