Title Research: Art of the Title Website
Hello world,
Today we are researching these sites to learn more about title designs in films. We also wanted to learn about the impact the title design can have on a viewer. In films title designs may seem insignificant but can have one of the biggest impacts. Because of the significance of the title design, we wanted to do our research to be absolutely certain that we were on the right track in creating and formatting our titles. We also wanted to research the relationship that the title design could have with showing the genre of a film. We weren't sure if all title designs were supposed to be in a specific font, order, color etc. for certain genres of film. When we were discussing our films’ title designs, we couldn't properly format them or know how it's done because when we typically watch films, we don’t pay much attention to that aspect of the movie, or we skip over that part. While we are researching, we aim to learn different approaches to title design to help us develop our own for our film. Not only will this research help us develop our own title design but also allow us to have a bigger perspective on popular trends in the film industry. From these sites we will be able to learn many new things about title design which will help us significantly improve our film and complete our film as closely as possible to professional filmmakers.
